About the Role
Lamson Dugan & Murray is seeking an Employment Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join the Omaha office. The ideal candidate is an established, management-side employment law generalist who can handle both litigation and counseling matters.
This is a unique opportunity to be a foundational member of the firm's employment practice, with significant opportunities for growth and to build something new within a stable and respected firm. You would be THE employment attorney at the firm, working directly with senior partners and owning the practice across their entire client base.
What You'll Be Doing
- Represent employers in a full range of employment litigation — wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment claims
- Counsel corporate clients on compliance with federal and state employment laws — drafting policies, handbooks, and employment agreements
- Handle administrative proceedings before agencies including the EEOC and Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission
- Advise on internal employment issues within the firm
- Build out the firm's dedicated employment law practice with direct partner mentorship
Compensation & Location
- Salary: $120K - $150K (stretches like $180K+ in Chicago at Omaha cost of living)
- Equity: Not applicable
- Location: Omaha, NE — 5 days in office
