Job Description:
San Francisco, CA (or Singapore) · On-site · Full-time Compensation: $120,000–$150,000 + competitive equity
About the Company
Our client builds the infrastructure to create reinforcement-learning (RL) training data and evaluations for frontier AI agents, plus a marketplace to sell them to frontier labs. The platform is already used by frontier labs, Fortune 500 companies, and startups. It's a small, high-caliber team that is well-funded and growing revenue fast.
Founded 2024 · ~15 people (Series A) · Industry: AI Tools / RL infrastructure
The Role
Own the customer-facing work that can't or shouldn't be automated — the human-in-the-loop layer across both sides of the marketplace: data suppliers (vendors) and frontier-lab / enterprise buyers. The work leans toward vendors (there are far more vendors than buyers) and toward education: many vendors are non-technical (say, a small accounting shop new to AI), so much of the job is patiently explaining what the platform does and how bidding and the project process work. It's deliberately not a reactive support seat.
Requirements
- A customer / business-operations or consulting background
- Sound judgment in customer-facing situations
- Juggles many threads with high follow-through
- Uses AI tools in daily work
- On-site in the SF Bay Area or Singapore
Nice to Haves
- A sharp generalist with strong judgment about when to help, push back, or escalate
- A warm, patient communicator who can educate non-technical vendors without condescension
- Naturally juggles many small threads and follows through on all of them
- Already uses AI tools to work faster and turns recurring issues into process or automation improvements
- A consulting-plus-startup background looking to break into GTM, able to clearly explain what the product does
Why Join
- Frontier-adjacent work: sit at the human-in-the-loop layer between RL-data vendors and the frontier labs and enterprises buying from them
- An exceptional team: Olympiad medalists, serial AI-startup founders, and published ML researchers; eight figures raised and high revenue growth, scaling profitably
- Real ownership, not a support seat: turn recurring problems into processes, platform improvements, and lightweight systems — with competitive equity and full benefits (100% covered medical/dental/vision, meals in office, gym, 401k, unlimited AI tools)
