The Role

A founding-level GTM hire to design, build, and own the outbound systems that create pipeline, credibility, and revenue. The team is engineering-driven today with a working inbound funnel and strong founder-led sales — the biggest gap is demand generation. You won't be handed a playbook; you'll write it. Sales calls are founder-led to start, with a clear path to joining calls and owning more of the revenue motion as you prove impact. Primary targets are Fortune 2000 enterprises and Series A+ AI-native companies.

What you'll be doing

  • Architect and run multi-channel outbound across email, LinkedIn, events, and enterprise segmentation
  • Build scalable lead generation systems using automation and AI-native workflows
  • Design outbound like a product — test, measure, and refine constantly
  • Take ownership of inbound channels currently run by the founders
  • Ship consistent content and improve discoverability through SEO, GEO, and AI-native distribution
  • Build lead lists and semi-automated workflows using enrichment and AI-native tools
  • Build relationships across the voice AI and customer experience ecosystem and coordinate co-marketing motions

Tech stack: Clay, Apollo, HeyReach, and similar AI-native GTM tooling

Requirements

  • 3+ years of GTM with proven demand generation results
  • AI-native GTM tooling (Clay, Apollo, HeyReach, or equivalent)
  • Data-driven and creative approach to outbound
  • Voice AI or CX industry background preferred
  • Based in or relocating to San Francisco, on-site full-time

Green Flags

  • Can point to concrete, measurable demand gen results, not just "I ran outbound," but here is what I built, here is what it produced
  • AI-native by default, uses Clay, Apollo, HeyReach, and similar tools fluently and thinks creatively about how to use them
  • Thinks in experiments, tests fast, ties results to data, and iterates without getting attached to tactics that are not working
  • Scrappy and unconventional, excited by bold GTM moves, not just cookie-cutter sequences
  • Has industry ties in voice AI, CX, or contact center, brings a Rolodex, not just a resume
  • Personable and credible in front of enterprise buyers — can hold a room and eventually own a sales call

Red Flags

  • New grad or less than 3 years of professional GTM experience, hard no, no exceptions
  • Has only run one-channel GTM (pure email, pure LinkedIn) — this role requires genuine multi-channel fluency
  • Not AI-native, does not use AI tools in their GTM workflow and is not curious about how to
  • Cookie-cutter approach, runs the standard playbook without creativity or original thinking
  • Not based in SF or not genuinely committed to relocating — in-person with the founders is non-negotiable
